Do you know that  Monroe Free Library has travel guides that cover every state in the U.S. and countries on all the other five continents? There are also travel magazines you can check out and read at home: Budget Travel, Conde Nast Traveler, andTravel  & Leisure.

If you're interested in day trips there are many local travel guides in the collection.  Good sources for day trips are the Hudson Valley magazine, New York magazine and Time Out New York Kids . . . And if you can't seem to find the time to get  away this summer, borrow one of our travel DVDs and imagine that you are enjoying a nice trip!
